Crochet Button Up Arm Warmers I finished recently, I figured I could make some other cute crochet gifts for my mom and my sister. My mom is and has always been really big into her skin care routine, probably why people always ask if she's my sister when we're out in public together.
I've seen a lot of different crochet face scrubbies online, and thought I'd make a set of my own. I actually like my face scrubs to be a little on the abrasive side because I feel like it's better for removing dirt and makeup off my face when it's rougher! My mom on the other hand likes them a little nicer on her skin, so for her set I used a roll of Lily Sugar n' Cream Yarn in Warm Brown. I love this yarn for this project because it's 100% cotton, it's thick, doesn't fray very much or "fuzz up", and is machine washable and dryable. Perfect since these are made to be reusable!

These will fit about a med. women's I'm guessing. I have not the skinniest arms. You can of course adjust by increasing or decreasing either the beginning chain count, and/or the hook size. I'm not into wearing the wrist warmers, but after I made this pair and sported them for pictures, they have grown on me a little, so I may be making some in a solid color and maybe a little not so long for myself. If you have a teeny bopper on your Christmas list this year and you know how to use a hook and some yarn, consider a pair of these for her, I'm sure she'll love them!

Little ComBRAT Combat Boots" Pattern is now available on Craftsy, and I purchased them as soon as I saw the news lol. So I'm going to be making my first pair of these tonight. If you're looking for goot combat boot style patterns for babies, I HIGHLY recommend her patterns. They are awesome with pictures, text, and she even offers video help for the tricky parts.
The pattern includes 4 sizes from 0-12 months and it's selling for $5.95, which is well worth it, especially if you sell your finished pairs! Be sure to follow her on Facebook to stay up to date with her new pattern releases as well as her discounts!
Can ya'll tell I'm a little excited? I have no life I know :)
Have a good week!

Back in August, I posted this cute crochet hat pattern for the boot and hat set I posted about here. I of course made the mistake of only posting the hat in one size :) After having several requests for it in a bigger size, I finally got around to working up a couple other sizes. The original pattern however, was one I worked with a baby or sport weight yarn, so with this one I went ahead and reworked it with your every day worsted wt (red heart soft or I love this yarn is perfect for these) since I think it's more commonly used. I have re-worked the NB - 3 month size also, but if you would like to use a light weight or sport weight yarn, the original pattern is still posted, just in 1 size.
